Vision Screen

Greetings,

Today everyone in our class had a vision screen by nurse Cruz. Some of our students seemed to need glasses. Please take your child to see an Optometrist as soon as possible if you received a letter form Mrs. Cruz.  For now I have moved students who may be near sighted to the front of the board.

Kind regards.

Week 2 Review

Greetings everyone,

Our second week went fast. We continued our learning about Story Elements.  By now we are getting better at analyzing stories' characters, settings and themes. We learned to write summaries, understand words with multiple meanings, and use context clues, adding to reading comprehension. We learned about place values and how to compare numbers up to 7 digits in math.We have also started using AR, iStations, and TTM online learning tools.

This week, I'll add the spelling words in the homework page.

Hope you have a restful weekend.

See you Monday,

Mrs. Waters

Week 1 Review

Greetings to students and families,

The first week of school went great. We set our big class goals and personal goals. My personal welcome letter went to home on 1st day of the school. Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions.

We have started getting into our daily routine.  And yes, almost everyone has turned in all your forms which were sent home on the first day of school. Thank you for being prompt.

As far as homework, I have posted the first two weeks' assignments under the Homework page. And the spelling words are in the Class Helper as well.  We also started Think Through Math (TTM) accounts on the first week. Each student should be able to log in at home anytime.

Thanks to those who visited or contacted me.  I sincerely appreciate for your enthusiastic support of your child's education and my teaching.  You guys are amazing!

Thank you,

Mrs. Waters
