End of Year Note

Dear students and parents,

Students, you guys are truly wonderful. I deeply appreciate your hard work and kindness over this past year. Our magic garden grew strong because every one of you made an effort. You have provided an opportunity for me to learn how to teach better. Over the summer, I hope you continue to practice thinking as a problem solver and a peace maker.

Parents, I deeply appreciate your help during the entire 2013 -2014 school year. You supported me to work with your kids in many creative and diligent ways. It's entirely my pleasure to have your child in my class.

I want to specially Thank You to all of you who have kindly lent a helping hand in our class field trip, class projects and school fundraising activities. * Many Thanks for your donations of healthy snacks and drinks for our class parties.

Dear students and families,

Staar Tests results were sent home last Friday. I have received many warm and kind words. I want to say thank you for your hugs or just saying "I can't make it without you!" This is the best reward a teacher can receive. I hope you will always remember the ways we worked, what it means to "have grit",  to "never give up",  and to stay focussed on our goals.  I wish you every success in the future - both at school and after you graduate high school, go to university, and then make your own way!

Special thanks to you, parents and grandparents, you are the true supporters of these little boys and girls on their journey. Thank you for your supporting hands.

Awards Ceremony

Reminder:

Our awards ceremony time is tomorrow between 8:30 - 9:30am. It's not a free dress day, but you may wear your Sunday best to school.

Fun Field Day And Cookout

Tomorrow's Fun Field Day activities are as following:
Bouncy House, Water Slide, Angry Birds, Scooters, Holey Bucket  and more...

School-wide picnic will be between 12:00 -12:45pm.
Third grade fun time will be between 1:00 - 2:30pm.
Cookout will be open from 12:00  to  3:00 pm.

Spring Production

Our spring production will be on Thursday night.  We will have a PTA meeting at 6 pm, and the program will begin at 7 pm. 

We will have dress rehearsals for student viewing per the following schedule:

Wednesday, May 14 at 1:45 for PK, K, 1^st grade, and special education classes

Thursday, May 15 at 9:00 for 2^nd grade, 3^rd grade, 4^th grade, and 5^th grade
